NetSuite AI reporting
Ask questions about your Oracle NetSuite data in plain English, across subsidiaries, periods and every transaction your NetSuite role can see. Synaptic Intelligence writes the query and runs it, and each figure links to the query it came from. It only reads.
What you can ask about your NetSuite data
- What was revenue by subsidiary last quarter?
- Which customers have invoices more than 90 days overdue, and for how much?
- What do we owe suppliers in each subsidiary, and when is it due?
- How do operating expenses this year compare with last year, by department?
- Which accounting periods are still open?
Your NetSuite role decides what is visible. A subsidiary the role cannot see is simply absent from the answer, so choose the role you connect with accordingly.

What is revenue per employee in each subsidiary?
- Finance reads revenue by subsidiary from NetSuite.
- HR counts employees in each from your HR system, such as Workday or BambooHR. Employee is HR's word, so HR's count is the one used.
- The answer divides one by the other. NetSuite keeps employee records too; where its count differs from HR's, the answer shows both, says which it used and what the difference suggests, such as leavers still on NetSuite's records.
That question consults two departments and reconciles their answers, so it costs four credits. A question only Finance needs costs one.
How you connect NetSuite
In NetSuite the sign-in app lives inside your own account, so an admin creates it once. The card walks through it, in about five minutes: turn on REST Web Services and OAuth 2.0, create an integration record, and copy its client ID and secret and your account ID into the card.
Then click Connect with NetSuite and sign in with the role whose permissions should be the limit. The connection has to answer a real request before Finance uses it. Every query is checked before it is sent, and anything that is not a read is refused.
For IT and security: the exact permissions
OAuth 2.0 authorisation code, against the integration record in your account, with the scope rest_webservices. The role you connect with needs the permissions "Log in using OAuth 2.0 Access Tokens" and "REST Web Services", and its record permissions are the whole of what can be read.
Questions are answered with SuiteQL. Only SELECT and WITH statements are sent, anything that could write is refused first, and a query returns at most 1,000 rows.
Which department it feeds
NetSuite feeds your Finance department: the general ledger, transactions, subsidiaries and periods. Finance owns the word revenue, so when another system reports a different revenue figure, the answer says whose is the real one.
Each person sees Finance's answers only if their job title allows it.
Plans
Each system you connect counts once. Starter and the free trial include three connected systems, Growth five, and Team, Business and Enterprise as many as you need. Reading answers is free for everyone; asking uses credits. See pricing.
Other systems
Thinking of connecting ChatGPT or Claude to NetSuite yourself? Build or buy: what it involves. And for why two systems can both be right about one figure, why HR says 41 and payroll says 43.
